The National History Bee and Bowl is pleased to announce that Miami University in Oxford, OH will be the site of the Southwest Ohio History Bee and Bowl on Saturday, January 21, 2012. We are grateful to Miami University for hosting the tournament, and will be working with them to put together a great new competition for students from Southwest Ohio, as well as nearby Kentucky and Indiana schools.
This tournament will use our C set; teams who compete here are also more than welcome to attend either the Ohio State Championships in Columbus in February or the Kentucky State Championships north of Louisville in March. Both of those tournaments will use our A set. It should be noted, though, that participation in our tournament at Miami University is not a prerequisite for the Ohio State Championships, but that you can qualify for our National Championships at our Southwest Ohio tournament by finishing in the top third of the Bee draw in the preliminaries.
